Arizona Renaissance Festival

Yeah yeah, renaissance fairs are for geeks. A bunch of weirdos set up tents, put on their crazy outfits, and play with swords. Well, that may be the case for other renaissance fairs, but in Arizona, they go all out. This is the 17th year for this festival, and the grounds turn into a small city each weekend as thousands of visitors enjoy the spectacles. Their are dozens of permanent buildings and professional performers. Ashlee and I decided to check it out, and it was a lot of fun.

We didn't take any pictures, but I found the flikr group for the festival: http://www.flickr.com/groups/azrenaissance/pool/
